Are you an experienced engineer who is looking to start the journey into leadership? Still wanting a completely hands on role, but someone who could deputise for the manager and assist the current engineers on the floor?Looking for a highly skilled engineering professional with significant experience in a manufacturing operations role within a fast-paced food production / FMCG environment.As a Production Engineer you’ll support the optimisation and technical improvement of the packaging production line, both equipment and processes. Working in a team, you will be improving the way operating problems are dealt with and implement corrective actions to ensure no future failures.
  • Assist in managing the technical and plant related aspects of Safety, Hygiene, Environment and Quality consistent with procedures and targets to meet legislative and regulatory compliance
  • Use continuous improvement techniques/tools
  • Development of systems to measure key plant technical performance and output
  • Lead and assist in coordinating problem solving effort requiring technical input
For the Production Engineer role will have proven process and continuous improvement expertise on a variety of equipment ideally within the food industry.
  • Degree level education, preferably in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Chemical engineering
  • Good technical understanding of process flows and unit operations
  • Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and environment regulations
