A fantastic opportunity for a professional Driver to join a high-tech company working at the forefront of innovation in hardware and systems deployment across the UK.This growing organisation is seeking a confident and reliable driver to manage the safe transportation of hardware equipment between their Saffron Walden base, UK client sites, and live events.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in logistics or commercial driving-particularly those who have worked as a delivery driver in a structured environment, such as retail or supermarket distribution-who is looking for a role with variety and responsibility.Location: Saffron Walden, Essex - must live within commutable distanceSalary: £30,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experienceRequirements for the Driver role:
  • Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement – even better if you have Category CE
  • Clean driving record
  • Confident performing daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and escalating any issues
  • Able to safely load, unload, and transport technical equipment
  • A flexible approach to travel - regular driving to client sites and events across the UK
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • Great communication skills when liaising with colleagues and clients
  • Experience in a structured driving role such as supermarket, logistics, or parcel delivery is highly desirable
Responsibilities for the Driver role:
  • Carrying out daily pre-drive checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Transporting technical hardware to a range of UK destinations
  • Handling equipment carefully and securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Supporting logistics planning and reporting vehicle or schedule issues
  • Representing the business professionally during external engagements
