I am currently looking for a Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School in Weston-Super-Mare.Whether you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Youth Worker - this role would be suitable for you.This school is a great place for children to be encouraged to use every chance and opportunity they get to explore and develop their learning journey. This is a high performing, ambitious school with a team of inspirational and committed staff.The RoleThis role will suit a candidate who understands challenges that young people face today and is passionate about contributing to the personal and academic development of every child.You will be expected to:
  • Have experience with SEND children.
  • Inspire pupils to be confident and independent
  • Hold strong positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with a pupil.
  • Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
  • Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
  • Support children in a group setting, using objects to support and encourage learning.
