- Lead on Change Management: Oversee all UK finance change projects (bank and securities) from inception to delivery, ensuring effective implementation and adoption
- Responsible for leading on change strategic priorities that impact UK entities, and be able to articulate vision and strategic objectives
- Utilise external contacts and industry best practice to assess current state and identity optimising opportunities
- Resolve Project Issues: facilitate resolution of issues across different stakeholder groups to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure effective communication and coordination of efforts to support delivery
- Review and Improve Processes: Assess current finance processes and implement changes aligned with our target operating model
- Foster Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
- Be the lead point of contact on all UK finance change project for the project management team.
- Create strong working relationship, to collaborate closely to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Responsible for ensuring correct cost allocation information for projects
- Responsible for ensuring alignment across the international platform on projects that impact Americas, EMEA and Asia
- Responsible for collaborating globally with project teams in Americas and Asia to ensure requirements are appropriately gathered and implementation is consistent where appropriate
- Direct line management of Finance staff within your team, including mentoring and supporting the team, enhancing their capabilities and fostering growth, including objective setting, career development and personal development
- Provide leadership to Junior Finance staff acting as a role model for behaviour and compliance with company requirements.
- Membership of Core Finance Leadership team, responsible for driving the vision and objectives of the team
- Maintain and enhance good working relationships with stakeholders, across the region and globally to share best practises, provide support and develop effective local processes and platform appropriate to the Company, and working in support of the One MUFG and overall Group Strategy
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with key stakeholders at the Group level, within EMEA and also with the Americas and Asia to facilitate impactful finance projects

- The role holder will have responsibilities for both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.
- The role holder will be required to perform their duties and responsibilities on an entity neutral basis, without favour.
- The role holder is required to follow regulatory requirements applicable to ensure each business is appropriately supported and to maintain the legal entity integrity of each of MUFG Bank and MUS.
- Working terms are dictated by the terms of the Dual-Hat Arrangement Agreement in place between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc and any other relevant agreements entered into between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.
- The role holder will have responsibility for identifying and resolving where there may be a difference or conflict in needs between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc, escalating to their manager where required.
