This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of neurodiverse students while developing your skills in a flexible, part-time role.ResponsibilityWhat will you be responsible for:Providing individualized study skills support to neurodiverse students, creating supportive learning plans, and building strong, trusting relationships. You will implement effective teaching strategies to foster their academic success and independence.Specifically the activities will be:
  • Develop and implement personalized study plans.* Deliver engaging and effective study skills instruction.* Build rapport and trust with neurodiverse students.* Provide ongoing support and mentoring.* Collaborate with university staff. Experience
What requirements are we looking for?Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals is preferred but not essential. A commitment to person-centered care and strong problem-solving skills are highly valued. Requirements/SkillsWhat requirements are we looking for?
  • Postgraduate qualification and a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, AFHEA or equivalent).* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Patience, empathy, and understanding of neurodiverse needs.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Willingness to complete NAS training modules (support provided). What requirements are we looking for?Postgraduate qualification and a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, AFHEA or equivalent) are required.
