Contract: Initial 9-week contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: PAYE: £21.92 per hour | Umbrella: £28.04 per hourSanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Service Charge Analyst to join the Human Resources team at Southern Housing. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing transformation of service charge delivery within one of the UK’s leading housing providers.Role Overview:Reporting to the Service Charge Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to both service charge payers and internal stakeholders. The post involves close collaboration across departments to ensure the accurate and timely setting of service charges, particularly in more complex or challenging cases.Key Responsibilities:Calculate, construct, and issue both estimated and actual service charges in line with legal, contractual, and internal requirements.Deliver a customer-focused service by effectively resolving complex queries, complaints, and disputes from residents.Prepare comprehensive documentation for First Tier Tribunal hearings and attend as needed.Identify and recommend improvements in service charge calculation processes and resident communication.Work collaboratively across the service charge function to share knowledge and improve consistency and resilience.Requirements:Demonstrable experience in service charge analysis, ideally across residential and commercial portfolios.Strong understanding of current housing legislation and sector best practices.Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication, with a high level of numerical and financial literacy.Strong customer service orientation, with confidence in managing complex resident interactions.Experience engaging with councillors, community stakeholders, and external partners is desirable.Why Choose Sanctuary Personnel?Sanctuary Personnel offers exceptional support to help you thrive in your role.
