RMS is excited to partner with a prestigious name in the automotive industry, and we’re on the lookout for a Allocator to join our admin team!
  • Based in Corby
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
  • Permanent Contract (37.5hours per week)
  • £14.45per hour
About the Role:Working under the supervision and Co-ordination of the Compound Manager, you will be required to liaise with external carriers to plan the efficient arrival and despatch of vehicles from site.
  • To liaise with carriers to co-ordinate the scheduled date and time of vehicles from site
  • To communicate with the Inbound / Outbound Compound team members to ensure the correct vehicles are available for despatch in line with client timeframes
  • Ensure systems are updated in real time
  • Ensure all appropriate documentation in relation to arrivals and despatches are completed in full and safely stored for ease of retrieval
  • Produce stats on a daily / weekly / monthly basis to the Inbound / Outbound Compound Manager.
  • To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you:
  • Previous experience in a Traffic Allocation role.
  • Must be PC Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Must have excellent Numeracy and literacy skills
  • Must be a strong communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be Flexible to support in all areas and complete any tasks required
  • Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be confident resolving driver queries.
  • Must have attention to Detail
