You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, ensuring the highest standards of client care. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication with clients, estate agents, and colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of residential conveyancing filesGenerate new work and convert quotations into instructionsConduct and review necessary searchesLiaise with clients and maintain regular updates with estate agentsPrepare standard contract documentationIdentify opportunities for cross-referrals to other departmentsHandle exchanges, completions, and all post-completion work, including SDLT submissions and Companies House filingsEnsure accurate file closure and compliance with internal proceduresKeep up to date with changes in conveyancing law and practiceMaintain accurate records of time and billingFollow case management workflows and quality proceduresPerson SpecificationEssentialExperienced Conveyancer with a proven track record of managing a busy residential caseloadStrong understanding of the conveyancing process, Money Laundering Regulations, and Solicitors Accounts RulesConfident in handling matters from start to finish with minimal supervisionIT literate with experience using case management systemsExcellent communication, planning, and organisational skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesTeam-oriented with a proactive and client-focused approachDesirableLegal Executive or Solicitor qualificationExperience using SOS ConnectPrevious experience in cross-referring clients to other legal servicesBenefits
