Positive Behaviour Care AssistantThe HomeHolmes Court is a newly built residential home for people aged 18 or over with complex needs including Autism, learning disability and behaviour that challenges. Holmes Court is located in Ballymena and it neighbours with Slemish Nursing Home. Holmes Court location is on a walking distance from local shops and parks, the home can be reached easily by bus or train. Holmes Court have hired an entirely new work force, which creates exciting new opportunities to be a part of the team!The RoleThe role of the Positive Behaviour Care Assistant is essential in our mission to provide excellent care. Positive Behaviour Care Assistants work closely with the senior team to meet the daily needs of residents using a positive behaviour, person centred approach., helping our residents fulfil their potential.At Healthcare Ireland we provide a comfortable environment for each resident with the highest quality of care.   • To be a good listener, showing patience, compassion, empathy and understanding
  • A good standard of written and oral English
  • The Right to Work in the UK
Desired Criteria
  • Previous experience within a care setting
  • At least 6 months experience working in a regulated care or support environment for people with learning disability or complex needs
  • Educated to QCF level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social care
