Job Description:Bank Healthcare Assistant | West Norfolk New Clinic | King's Lynn | Competitive rates | Excellent BenefitsJoin our brand new West Norfolk Clinical and be part of Spire Healthcare's exciting expansion.Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is delighted to be opening its new outpatient clinical in West Norfolk, and we are looking for a dedicated and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team on a flexible bank basis.Duties and responsibilitiesAs a HCA, you will play a key role supporting our clinical team, ensuring a safe, effective and exception experience for our patients. You will work across a variety of outpatient services including consultations, minor procedures and health assessments.
  • Assisting clinical staff in delivering excellent patient care
  • supporting minor procedures and outpatient consultations
  • ensuring all equipment and clinical areas are prepared and maintained to the highest standard
  • take basic observations such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Offering a kind, professional and reassuring presence for our patients
Who we're looking for
  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observation
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a small and dynamic team
