We’re working with a supportive 11–16 secondary school looking for a talented Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department. You’ll be teaching practical and theory-based lessons that build culinary skills, food science knowledge, and healthy eating habits, preparing students for success at GCSE and beyond.About the RoleAs a Food Technology Teacher, you’ll:Teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Food Preparation & NutritionPlan practical sessions that develop cooking skills, food safety awareness, and creativityDeliver theory lessons on nutrition, food provenance, and the science of cookingMaintain a safe, organised, and well-resourced food roomSupport enrichment activities such as cooking clubs, competitions, and themed eventsAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who:Holds QTS and a relevant qualification in Food Technology, Catering, or a related fieldHas experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level, including GCSEIs confident leading practical lessons and maintaining a safe learning environmentInspires students through creative, hands-on learningBuilds positive relationships with students of all abilitiesWhat You’ll GetAccess to fully equipped food technology rooms and quality resourcesWeekly PAYE pay no umbrella deductionsOngoing CPD opportunities tailored to your needsSupport fro
