Pay Rate: £105 – £120 per day

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-timeAre you a flexible and self-assured individual eager to build valuable experience in a classroom setting?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to work in schools across the Nottingham area. As a CS, this role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff who are eager to guide and support students during teacher absences while maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
  • Supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure smooth classroom management.
  • Encourage pupil participation and maintain a safe, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Support students with their learning and answer questions where possible.
  • Follow school behaviour policies and report any concerns to senior staff.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff about the class progress.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom setting and engage students effectively.
  • Experience working with young people, ideally within a school or similar environment.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
