An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious veterinary surgeon to join a friendly, well-established and busy practice in Devon.
  • Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
  • Ideally a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Including 1 in 3 Saturdays
  • No OOHs!
  • Flexibility available regarding hours (Full or Part-time options).
The practice is led by an experienced Clinical Lead Vet, who is working towards a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, alongside a dedicated Head Nurse and Clinical Coach. They are supported by a fantastic team, all committed to delivering an outstanding level of care to the local community. The practice offers a spacious environment with modern facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, and plenty of onsite parking.This role would suit a confident vet with a broad range of GP skills, comfortable with sole charge, and with strong communication and teamwork abilities. The successful candidate will be both a people person and an animal person, joining a welcoming and supportive team dedicated to delivering excellent veterinary care.The caseload is varied, ranging from routine health consults to more complex medical cases and surgeries, with opportunities to further develop knowledge and skills. Days are busy but well-structured, with 15-minute consults as standard and time for admin, breaks, and lunch built into the schedule.Flexible hours are available, with full or part-time options depending on individual needs. The role ideally covers a minimum of 30 hours per week, preferably including 1 in 3 Saturdays, with no OOH commitments. However, flexibility is key, and the team is open to discussion with the right candidate.Further Benefits include:
