You will:
  • Provide consistent, positive support to pupils both in and out of the classroom
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to help manage behaviours, develop routines, and build emotional resilience
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated activities
  • Foster a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel understood and respected
  • Assist with personal care and practical tasks when necessary

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or SEN needs (preferred)
  • A calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental attitude
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A commitment to building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • The ability to remain resilient, flexible, and solution-focused in challenging situations
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential
