Pricing Specialist Actuary (Motor Fleet)Paris, France or London, UKContext :In this role, you will support the Head of Pricing, International Motor and underwriters across UK, Europe and APAC in all aspects of motor pricing. You will have exposure to both the Underwriting and Actuarial leadership teams through individual account pricing, quarterly business review meetings and annual business planning. Additionally, you will have further exposure to Reserving and Claims teams as you work with them in planning and various other projects and analyses to support Pricing efforts.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?· Support the pricing of International Motor business in UK & APAC/Europe including the four main UW offices in UK, France, Germany, and Switzerland.· Conduct individual account case pricing to evaluate large and select risks.· Assist the Head of Pricing, International Motor to evaluate, maintain, and improve the Pricing view of loss ratio for the portfolio.· Update the motor pricing tool for changing parameters and improve the tool to better serve both UW needs and pricing accuracy. Participate in tool recalibrations.· Drive appropriate consistency in pricing and portfolio analysis across International Motor.· Ensure efficiency of pricing processes, compliance with pricing guidelines and delivery of core tasks such as planning and core pricing metrics.Train underwriters in pricing tools and best practices, and communicate changes in tools, assumptions, parameters, and other pricing matters.· Collect and respond to local underwriting analytics and data needs and problems.· Leverage other AXA XL capabilities such as Strategic Analytics and Risk Consulting.· Work with the wider motor pricing team to complete tasks and assist development of junior team members.· Ensure AXA XL is a leader in the field of technical pricing and portfolio management.This role will be the direct report of the Head of Pricing, international MotorQualificationsSHARE your talentWe’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:· Confirmed experience in PRICING (between 3-6 years ) focused on large risks and a tailor-made approach· Strong analytical skills: data analysis and treatment, detail-oriented and ability to develop rational solutions, communicate and implement accordingly· Significant experience in casualty pricing· Strong influencing and negotiating skills.· Leadership skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and build consensus.· Strong and effective analytical skills· Effective verbal communications skills.
