  • Provide high-quality medical care during routine appointments, managing a wide range of conditions.
  • Assess patients' health concerns, provide accurate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medication, monitor prescriptions, and offer advice on medication use.
  • Provide preventative care, including screenings and lifestyle advice to improve patient health.
  • Take medical histories and perform physical examinations.
  • Manage long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and mental health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatment plans, and follow-up care using practice management software.
About usMargaret Street Practice is a well-established and forward-thinking NHS GP practice located in the heart of Ammanford. We also have a branch surgery in the nearby village of Tycroes. Our patient list of 9500, with a controlled workload, highly organised practice with a well-staffed team of clinical and clerical staff, who hold weekly clinical meetings, and actively encourage the pursuit of specialist clinical interests.The Partnership consists of 4 GP Partners and 1 ANP Partner. The Clinical team consists of 1 Nurse practitioner, 4 Practice nurses, 1 Mental Health Specialist Nurse and 1 Nursing Assistant.
