Your new roleAbout the roleLeading the Operations team, you’ll exemplify our commitment to Health & Safety, and ensuring quality and best practice will be second nature to you. Based in our Haydock office you’ll manage teams overseeing construction projects across the north west.As an Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for:
  • Assist the project teams prepare / issue factual and accurate reports for the Monthly Regional Board Meetings
  • Attend monthly Cost Valuation Report Meetings with project teams and Directors
  • Review job costs and instigate reviews and recovery plans, where necessary. Assist with the management of Labour & Productivity
  • Ensure that each project is adequately resourced to maintain H&S, programme and quality objectives efficiently
  • Ensure that the appropriate supply chain is in place to satisfy the requirements of the business and individual projects
  • Identify staff development and carry out appraisals
As an Operations Manager you’ll have a Construction or Civil Engineering Degree or significant management experience in the Construction industry, hold a valid CSCS (management) card, be SMSTS qualified via CITB and be competent in Health and Safety practice with good first aid knowledge.
