Groundwork Working Foreman

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of groundworkers.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular meetings to review progress and address any issues.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Develop work schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
• Adapt plans as needed to accommodate changes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in groundwork tasks such as excavation and utility installation.
• Provide support and guidance to team members.
• Perform hands-on work as necessary.
• Implement quality control measures and enforce safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and regulatory authorities.
• Foster positive working relationships.

• Proven experience in groundwork operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read construction plans.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• SSSTS or SMSTS Certification is desirable.
• Physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors.
