- Shift Patterns: 8a-5pm, 9am-6pm & 12pm-8pm
- Availability: Must be available immediately
- DBS: Required if possible
- Welcoming Visitors: Greet all patients and visitors warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued. Offer refreshments upon arrival.
- Patient Registration: Accurately register all patients on the Electronic Patient Record, maintaining attention to detail.
- Communication: Record the details of patients and their purpose of visit, relaying this information promptly to the appropriate team members.
- Patient Journey Support: Assist in guiding patients through their experience, keeping them informed about next steps in their care process.
- Consultant Notifications: Ensure that nursing staff are made aware of patients waiting to be assessed before seeing a consultant.
- Diagnostic Requests: Action request forms for testing and diagnostics as instructed by consultants.
- Service Promotion: Actively promote in-house services, especially Pharmacy, and gather feedback from patients.
- Financial Responsibilities: Collect billing information and patient consents, prepare invoices/quotes, and handle payments in a timely manner.
- Experience working as a Receptionist/Front of House within a professional environment
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to maintaining a smart, professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role is preferred.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
