Pay: £101.40 to £110 per day, Monday to Friday, term time only

Many have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and difficulties with authority. Your core focus will be on building trust, fostering emotional resilience, and guiding students in positive behavioural change—preparing them for reintegration into mainstream education or society.This is a specialist setting for children with EHCPs relating to autism, speech and language challenges, sensory needs, trauma, anxiety, depression, and associated neurodivergent conditions.Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong, positive relationships with students to encourage trust and engagement
- Supporting pupils in managing emotions and developing strategies to regulate behaviour
- Providing academic and emotional support in small groups or 1:1
- Helping prevent exclusion by promoting engagement and consistency
- Assisting lesson delivery, ensuring students feel supported and calm
- Using restorative and trauma-informed practices to manage behaviour and relationships
- Helping students develop life skills to support them beyond school
- Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth & Community Work, or similar fields
- Non-graduates with relevant youth work, mentoring, or care experience are also welcome
- A strong drive to work with children and young people at risk of exclusion or entering the criminal justice system
