  • Hours: Full-time, Permanent | Shift patterns: 06:00-16:00 or 15:00-00:00
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to lead and oversee the smooth running of a busy vehicle preparation centre in Rugby. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired, inspected, and prepared to the highest standards before reaching the forecourt.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily workflow of workshop and valet teams
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs, inspections, and preparation for delivery
  • Ensure all vehicles meet strict quality standards
  • Monitor team productivity and support staff development
  • Manage stock, parts, and workshop costs within budget
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment at all times
About You:
  • Previous experience in a workshop, service, or preparation environment
  • Supervisory or leadership experience desirable
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A hands-on leader with strong communication and motivational skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexible with working hours (two shift patterns)
  • Full UK driving licence
