- Own and drive the overall production strategy for the Systems & Technology department, ensuring delivery is aligned with studio-wide goals.
- Lead and mentor a small team of producers, overseeing their work across multiple specialist teams and fostering consistent production standards.
- Collaborate with the Technical Director and other leaders to shape and maintain long-term technical roadmaps and team structures.
- Anticipate and resolve cross-team dependencies and bottlenecks, proactively addressing risks and aligning teams around priorities.
- Communicate progress and plans clearly to studio leadership, ensuring transparency across both short-term sprint work and long-term goals.
- Champion high-quality planning and delivery practices, evolving workflows where necessary to improve predictability and efficiency.
- Represent Systems & Tech in studio-wide planning, collaborating with other Leads to align initiatives, resources, and release planning.
- Representative of the Line Managers cross-studio team to co-ordinate studio leads and input and participate in developing studio culture, priorities and policies.
- Establish and maintain SEGA cross-studio relationships with peers to share experiences and opportunities.
- Experience in a senior or lead production role within games or software development.
- Strong understanding of technical workflows, systems architecture, and development pipelines.
- Proven track record leading production efforts across multiple teams or departments with experience managing, mentoring, or coaching producers or PM's.
- Comfortable working across engineering heavy domains and translating technical plans into actionable, trackable roadmaps.
- Clear communicator and strong stakeholder manager with the ability to tailor information to developers, producers, and SLT.
- Highly organised, solutions focused, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Knowledge in agile and waterfall processes, and SCRUM and Kanban methodologies.
