Permanent Vacancy – Full-timeA fantastic opportunity for a Technical Team Leader to join a well-established Managed Services Provider (MSP) near Morley (South Leeds) has arisen.This position has arisen due to internal growth and will play a key part in the Service Desk team.Further responsibilities within the role will include;
- Lead and mentor a team of technical support engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team, supporting private and public cloud solutions, escalating to 3rd line where required.
- Continuously improve support processes and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about incident status and resolution progress.
- Monitoring progress, tracking team KPIs, managing budgets, developing and delivering new client technologies.
- Where required, act as a lead for vendor management, working with 3rd party businesses for specific escalation support.
- Exposure across the following: Microsoft Modern Workplace (365, Intune, SharePoint and Entra ID), Virtual environments (Azure/VMware/Hyper-V) and Networking & Security
- Experience in leading or managing a team, dealing with technical escalations (working between 2nd & 3rd line)
- Experience working within an MSP or a fast-paced service desk environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a driving license and be based within a daily commuting distance Morley.
- Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
- Monday – Friday onsite based in Salford (8:45am – 5:15pm) – flexible if required
