Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers.About the roleThe Global CAPEX and Portfolio Lead is responsible for overseeing end to end Reckitts capital expenditure, creation adherence and continuous improvement of execution processes, CAPEX portfolio prioritization, group spending phasing and control. The role is responsible to ensure governance model is executed across geographies and all levels of organisation from project idea through scoping through execution and post investment review.Your responsibilities
  • CAPEX Project Managements
o Create, deploy global project management standard framework, and associated work processes to assure that capital investment projects deliver the intended business objective.
o Continuously improve the project management standard by capturing lessons learned and feeding them back to the process to stive better delveiry and simplification for CAPEX execution.
o Establish and maintain relevant data base for knowledge and experience sharing.
  • Provide governance, management and oversight on investment process
o Build process which will provide assurance that the projects are ready to pass through project stage gates and following all necessary requirements before approving budget.
o Create and consolidate reporting for regular project status update highlighting project status achievements challenges and opportunities.
o Provide support to wider engineering team in monitoring project performance and advising corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Global CAPEX portfolio
o Set processes for management global CAPEX portfolio, seek synergy in effective governance, benchmark projects to deliver better predictability of capital spending and investment efficiency. Drive prioritization of projects based on se criteria and thresholds for the group CAPEX.
  • CAPEX budget / forecast process.
o Establish an annual/forecast CAPEX global budget process for all areas, regions and sites.
o Review and perform analysis to identify opportunities and spot early issues for CAPEX budget.
o Work closely with finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and financial reporting including deviation from intended plan. Where possible provide recovery plan or mitigation actions.
  • Global Collaboration.
o Working closely with engineering, operations, finance, and executive teams across different regions ensures seamless project execution and knowledge sharing. This requires strong cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • CAPEX Process digitalization
o Identify and implement right digital tools to enhance portfolio management and CAPEX project management for more effective reporting and analysis.Typical connects are with Area Engineering Director, Global Strategic Project Director, Finance Directors/Managers and other supply leaders.The experience we're looking forEssential
  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering fields
  • Progressive experience in Engineering & Project Management within the CPG industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in Project Portfolio Management is beneficial.
  • International experience in major projects is beneficial
  • Preferred knowledge and experience working in management capacity in a CAPEX-related role in CPG company.
