- Supervise a small credit team.
- Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payments and minimise outstanding debts.
- Oversee daily operations within the credit team to maintain smooth workflows.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve credit management efficiency.
- Monitor customer accounts and liaise with stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
- Prepare financial reports and updates for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance department to support business objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to team members as needed.
- People management experience.
- Experience within the accounting and finance field, particularly in credit control.
- A solid understanding of retail industry processes and challenges.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
