- Supervise and support the reception team to deliver warm, professional, and efficient guest service.
- Lead daily briefings and handovers to ensure team alignment and operational awareness.
- Assist with rota planning, shift coverage, and on-the-job coaching.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support training and development initiatives.
- Uphold SOPs and ensure consistent service standards across all shifts.
- Ensure guests receive a welcoming and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
- Handle guest enquiries and feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
- Oversee VIP arrivals, special occasions, and group check-ins, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
- Promote resort offerings and assist guests with reservations, local information, and personalised services.
- Ensure accurate billing, payment collection, and resolution of queries.
- Maintain and update operational reports, guest preferences, and in-house communications.
- Use front office systems effectively, including Opera, HotSOS, Alliants, and Microsoft Office.
- Support health, safety, and licensing compliance across the reception area.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional front desk environment.
- Encourage sustainability practices and responsible resource use.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys and operational efficiency.
- Act as a point of contact in the Reception Manager's absence.
- Support night and concierge teams when required.

- HND or equivalent/or equivalent experience in hospitality/ business related field
- Current or recent management experience in Reception/Front Office/Reservations within 100+ bedroom hotel or resort at 4/5* standard
- Strong IT skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Word & Excel, with experience with Opera or similar property management systems beneficial.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
