
Mobile Handyperson

- Have a Self-motivated 'can do' attitude which is required to work within the current mobile team
- Carry out general carpentry repairs to fabric associated works (such as but not limited to; non fire related doors, door frames, handles, wall patch repairs, decking, fences, fence posts, blinds, fittings & fixtures, all over timber constructions)
- Installing shelves, pictures and noticeboards, dispensers
- Carry out replacement and installation of locks
- Carry out general labouring duties including furniture churn as required
- Carry out seasonal gritting to the estate as directed by the gritting plan within working hours, this may be required out of hours due to inclement weather
- Semi-skilled tasks if required as directed by Operations Manager or Supervisor (Helpdesk issued)
- Ensure ALL maintenance & inspection records are completed and submitted on a timely basis using the mobile APP and CAFM system
- As and when required, provide assistance with other PPM and extra work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASWA requirements
- Work with other professionals within and outside fabric specialism
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Participate in overtime on an ad-hoc basis
- Previous experience in building maintenance
- Manual Handling
- Willing to develop and learn
- Ability to provide efficient management and organisation of workload to ensure effective completion is achieved on time
- Ability to work unsupervised and be proactive whilst working across the estate's buildings in reporting health and safety issues to the SHEQ team
- General IT Skills and operating a mobile phone
