This is a Tayside wide post and there are facilities in both Perth Royal Infirmary and Ninewells Hospital.Research nursing as a career option allows you to utilise your nursing knowledge, skills and experience to contribute to the development of new evidence, improving patient care and to the development of new treatment regimens and pathways; with the overall aim of improving outcomes for our patients, now and in the future.The post-holder will be responsible for the management and delivery of a portfolio of studies in a variety of therapeutic areas and include clinical trials of investigational medicinal products.Applicants must be educated to degree level or working towards or have the equivalent experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills and ability to perform at the level required for the post.You will manage a caseload of study participants, providing them with the highest standards of care in adherence to clinical trials regulations, research governance and ICH Good Clinical Practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, also the post holder will demonstrate proven ability to be an effective team member as the post involves providing advice, support and guidance to other members of the multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with the Investigators, CRC Managers, Research and Clinical Teams in a variety of settings including hospital inpatient and outpatient settings and Primary Care.
