We operate at an unmatched scale.Shape the future of performance at AkamaiWith your Kubernetes expertise, you can design and amplify the scale and performance of Akamai's Object Storage Product to meet customer demands. You will be responsible for evolving the scale, performance, security, and capabilities of our managed Kubernetes platform. You will provide a simple and seamless experience developers have come to expect from Linode.As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing features and product enhancements
  • Advocating and encourage cloud-native technologies and architectural approaches
  • Contributing towards building the roadmap for stable and scalable cloud-native offerings
  • Enabling a simple and seamless way for our customers to deploy and operate their Kubernetes clusters
  • Developing best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have deep experience building Kubernetes Platform Clusters with scale and Cloud Native technologies
  • Have advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Operator creation, Cluster API, and Container Network Interfaces
  • Have experience with Container Runtimes (e.g. docker, containers, etc)
  • Demonstrate significant experience with Linux, Go, Python
