Leigh View Medical Practice is recruiting an experienced Nurse to expand the team. Leigh View consist of 7 Partners 2 salaried GPS 2 HCA 1 nurse increasing this to 2 and in the process of recruiting 2 Nurse associates to further increase the Nursing and HCA Team.Leigh View Medical have 16500 patients is operated on 1 site.We are a system 1 practice who are high achievers in QOF, DES, LES and all flu and vaccine services.Main duties of the jobTo be fully proficient in Chronic disease management, vaccinations and immunisations, cervical screening, contraceptive reviews, wound care including compression, as well as other general treatment room duties.To provide support to junior members of the nursing team including healthcare assistants and will direct their work to ensure that the Practices provide high quality care.You will oversee infection control standards and cold chain compliancy.About usTo work within NMC Code of Conduct and to agreed Practice standards and protocolsOversee recall systems for chronic diseases, cervical screening, immunisations, and other key areas as relevant to Practice NursingDelivery effective implementation of management of patients with Chronic Diseases as detailed by the Quality and Outcomes Framework, local quality schemes and national quality schemesSupport the implementation of evidence-based guidelines in conjunction with the wider teamEncourage the development of integrated services within Primary Care to include
