Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Crewe who are looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to start in September with a Year 3 class. This is a full year of maternity cover with the opportunity for a permanent contract with the school the following September.About the role:
  • You will plan and deliver engaging lessons which follow the national curriculum while incorporating the school’s values/mission
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress through formal and informal assessments
  • Provide both written and verbal feedback when necessary
  • Contribute to the wider school community, participating assemblies and school trips
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff to identify learning gaps and implement individualised learning plans
This is a great opportunity for an ECT who is looking to start their teaching career in a mainstream primary school, or an experienced teacher looking for a new and exciting role.What we’re looking for:
  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching primary-aged pupils (teacher placement included)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting the learning of young students
  • Good knowledge of the primary national curriculum for early KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
