GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a progressive secondary school in Dronfield (S18). The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that build students’ programming, problem-solving, and analytical skills, preparing them for success in today’s digital world.Key Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher:
  • Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
  • Deliver lessons in coding, algorithms, networks, and digital literacy.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level assessments.
  • Incorporate emerging technologies and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement.
Requirements for the Computer Science Teacher role:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach across key stages.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, HTML/CSS).
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
