If the answer is yes, then read on.We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Aldergrove Flying Station - Crumlin, Antrim, BT29 4BP.You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods.   • Part time – 25 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekend work.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
  • Serving food, making pizzas and other basic food prep.
  • General kitchen duties.
  • General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service.
  • Till work and taking payments.
  • Restocking items and stock rotation.
  • General cleaning of front and back of house.
  • Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
  • We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal.
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable, however full training will be provided for this multi-service role.
  • A great team player with a flexible approach to duties.
  • Due to the location of this site, a driving licence is essential or a reliable form of transport to get to work.
