This includes supervising site operations, coordinating materials and fleet resources, supporting lone workers, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.About youWe are looking for someone who

If you are Ethnically Diverse and demonstrate you meet the minimum criteria for the role you will be guaranteed an interview.Applications may close before the deadline, so please apply early to be considered.Role ProfileKey ResponsibilitiesProject & Technical Supervision· Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.· Supervise and support site teams, contractors, and subcontractors.· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.Fleet & Materials Coordination· Manage and monitor the use and condition of fleet vehicles assigned to the team.· Coordinate the timely delivery and allocation of materials to project sites.· Liaise with the stock management team to ensure accurate tracking and replenishment of materials.Lone Working & Staff Support· Monitor lone working devices to ensure staff safety and compliance with lone working protocols.· Provide regular one-to-one support and guidance to field operatives, addressing concerns and development needs.Toolbox Talks & Training· Plan, deliver, and document toolbox talks on health, safety, and operational topics.· Ensure consistent communication of best practices and updates to all team members.Quality Assurance & Spot Checks· Conduct monthly spot checks to assess productivity, quality of work, and adherence to standards.· Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.Team Leadership· Lead and mentor a team of site supervisors and operatives.· Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.· Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.Health and Safety· Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.· Carry out risk assessments and implement control measures.· Ensure all team members are trained and compliant with safety protocols.Stakeholder Coordination· Liaise with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and residents to ensure smooth project delivery.· Attend meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.Documentation and Reporting· Maintain accurate records of site activities, fleet usage, material movements, and toolbox talks.· Submit regular reports to the Planned and Complex Works Delivery Manager on project status, safety, and quality.Person specificationKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential· Strong leadership and coordination skills.· Proficient in construction and fleet management systems.· Knowledge of stock control processes and lone working safety protocols.· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.· Experience in supervision or technical operations, ideally within planned and complex works or capital projects.Personal Attributes· Proactive and solution-focused.· Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.· Professional, approachable, and supportive.· Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic environment.About Us:Riverside is one of the UK's leading not-for-profit social housing and regeneration organisations, owning or managing around 75,000 homes from Irvine to Kent.
