- Develop and implement category strategies based on market trends, customer insights, and business goals.
- Propose, lead, and coordinate procurement projects, managing the supply chain from sourcing to end-user delivery.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage high-value or complex supplier agreements.
- Monitor and manage category KPI's, including sales performance, margin, stock levels and inventory turnover.
- Support new product development and launch initiatives within your category.
- Develop the team of Buyers, Junior Buyers and Purchasing Assistants, driving performance and supporting personal growth.
- Previous experience in a buyer or procurement role
- Proven negotiation skills and experience with contract management
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Driving licence is essential
