Salary: MPS/UPS3; £32,916 - £51,048 per annum
Start Date: September 2025GSL Education is providing a great opportunity for you to work at a Secondary School as a Teacher of Business Studies in York, North Yorkshire, starting inSeptember 2025.Teacher of Business Studies Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Business Studies.
  • Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to inspire a love for business.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing high-quality feedback and pastoral care.
  • Stay updated on changes in the field of business and incorporate relevant industry examples and case studies into teaching.
Teacher of Business Studies and IT Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Business or a related subject.
  • Proven experience or strong potential to teach Business Studies at secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date awareness of curriculum developments.
  • Be committed to child protection, safeguarding, and pupil welfare.
  • Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
