- Perform comprehensive dietetic assessments of patients in Inpatient wards and provide follow-up in homes, supporting the community dietetics service.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team within the Magnolia Unit, acute hospital providers, and community teams.
- Manage your own caseload as an autonomous practitioner with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to enhance clinical practice and contribute to the implementation of changes to service protocols.
- Address any clinical governance issues with your line manager, maintaining high standards of practice.
- Take responsibility for a defined area of service, managing a specific patient type and working independently, with access to senior Dietitian support when needed.
- HCPC registration is essential to practice as a Dietitian.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in dietetics.
- A valid driver's licence is preferable to facilitate community visits.
