- Support the implementation of safety, health and environmental processes in line with business and legislative requirements.
- Provide guidance on company procedures to employees and contractors.
- Carry out workplace inspections, ensuring actions are followed up to completion.
- Contribute to communication channels including newsletters, meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting and follow-up of recommendations.
- Support waste management and COSHH compliance.
- Represent the SHE function at internal and external forums.
- GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent.
- Experience of working within a legislative framework.
- Knowledge of auditing and risk assessment techniques.
- Ability to deliver training and presentations.
- IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are desirable.
- Able to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
- Methodical and accurate in their approach.
- Confident in communicating with different groups.
- Focused on continual improvement of skills and knowledge.
- Responsible for achieving agreed outcomes.
