This is a key leadership role, perfect for someone with the vision and drive to lead our English department to continued success.About the Role:
· Lead the strategic development of the English department, including curriculum planning and assessment.
· Inspire and manage a team of English teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5, if applicable).
· Monitor student progress and implement interventions to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to support whole-school improvement and literacy initiatives.What Were Looking For:
· A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong background in teaching English at secondary level.
· Proven leadership experience or the readiness to step into a leadership role.
· A passion for literature, language, and creative teaching.
· Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
