About the jobDue to continued growth the position of Quantity Surveyor has become available to join our client who have secured a new build residential scheme in South Yorkshire.This is a full-time office/site based role and a fantastic opportunity to join a career enhancing company where you will be a welcomed member of the wider commercial and site teams.This position has a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience, in addition to a fantastic benefits package a dedicated professional development programme.As an inclusive, family friendly employer they believe that everyone matters, and they are committed to ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities to be able to reach their full potential.Role RequirementsOur client is looking to speak with candidates at Quantity Surveyor level.You will lead your own projects and work with contract administration, bids and tenders as well as managing contractors and sub-contractors.Projects ranging from £2m - £10m in value.
  • Measurement, pricing and evaluation of tenders
  • Producing and submitting applications/invoices for payment
  • Maximising value and minimising costs
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Attending pre-let and post contract meetings
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff members
