Contract: Full-time, PermanentBuild your future with us!Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term, stable role within a growing and well-established property investment group?Do you want to work on a varied portfolio of residential developments across South East London from multi-storey new builds to complex refurbishments?Hyhurst Group is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our continued growth and help shape the delivery of our residential projects.With an office base in Westerham, Kent and a South London-focused property portfolio, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, commercially driven role and is looking to make their mark in a supportive, close-knit team.As our Senior Quantity Surveyor you will work alongside our current surveyor, you will play a key role in managing costings and contracts across live sites and new developments.This includes:
  • Preparing bills of quantities, project timelines, and cost plans for materials and labour
  • Procuring and managing sub-contractor packages
  • Drafting and overseeing tender documentation, budgets, and contracts
  • Measuring, valuing, and reporting on work completed on-site
  • Maintaining up-to-date project costs and forecasts
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Building long-term relationships across the supply chain to benefit our future projects
What we’re looking for:To be considered, you must have at least 7 years’ Quantity Surveying experience working for a contractor. Applications that do not meet this criteria will not be progressed.In addition to this, you will need:
  • RICS or equivalent qualification
  • A proven background in residential new build and refurbishment projects (ideally up to £10m)
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • To live within a realistic commute to Westerham, Kent and South East London
