- Plan and deliver tailored, high-quality lessons.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom.
- Work closely with class leaders, therapists, and wider professionals.
- Contribute to the development of a bespoke SEN curriculum.
- Lead, guide, and support classroom assistants and support staff.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Support with physical intervention and personal care routines when needed.
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification with evidence of professional development.
- A strong understanding of the Teacher Standards and classroom expectations.
- Experience or knowledge of working within SEN settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail in assessment, planning, and progress reporting.
- Leadership potential with the ability to guide and support staff.
