- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- A post-graduate degree or PhD in geotechnical engineering is desired
- Able to apply geotechnical engineering principles to the full range of offshore geotechnical engineering problems.
- Design soil parameter interpretation from available geotechnical & geophysical data.
- Site Investigation recommendations on type and quantity of tests required.
- Geotechnical risk assessments.
- Subsea Structure Foundation Design (gravity base, driven pile & suction pile) to ISO, DNVGL or API standards - foundation capacity and installation design.
- Pipeline-Soil Interaction assessments to DNVGL F114.
- Trenching assessments.
- Ability to deal easily and effectively with a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to understand and meet the needs of customers as appropriate and deliver what was agreed within defined time frame.
- The ability to constantly achieve results within defined timeframes.
