We’re looking for someone to join us as an AML Investigator to provide in-depth and high quality investigative work within the UK AML Team. This includes investigation of potential money laundering activity through individual case review and proactive monitoring of account activity. This role could also lead to training in Sanctions investigations, which would include the investigation of potential matches through case review and determining the appropriate action to be taken.What you’ll doInvestigation of all suspicions referred from the businessInvestigation of transaction monitoring reportsThorough case reviews, reporting suspicions to the National Crime Agency when required and conducting ongoing monitoring where necessaryAccurate record keeping of the investigations you complete and the work you carry outBe a well-respected SME for AML related queries and processesSupport the testing and delivery of projects and initiatives impacting the AML functionIdentify issues that impact the AML function and liaise with other business areas, such as Tech and Access Central, to resolve the issuesSupport the wider delivery of the UK AML Work ProgrammeWhat we’re looking forPrevious investigative experience in Fraud or AML is essentialAn analytical nature, focus and high attention to detail are essentialIn an area of high regulatory scrutiny, this role requires investigators to demonstrate the highest level of integrity, discretion and commitment to AML as a careerStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work autonomously, but as part of a wider teamWe are committed to creating a level playing field and seek to create teams that are representative of our customers and the communities we serve.
