
Infrastructure Improvements Manager

- Deliver infrastructure projects aligned with ESCC's client service requirements and the Major Projects & Growth portfolio.
- Lead the full project lifecycle-from initiation and design to delivery and handover-ensuring success against KPIs and budgets.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team including project managers, works supervisors, and designers.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the community, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout.
- Develop strategic business plans and resource-loaded schedules.
- Implement robust project controls and governance.
- Ensure financial targets are met and manage NEC contract changes effectively.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and public communication strategies.
- Oversee design compliance and quality assurance.
- Champion Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability through proactive planning and Zero Harm culture.
- Promote digital tools like BIM360 and Aphex for data-driven decision-making.
- A people-focused leader with a proven track record in infrastructure and highways delivery.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and supplier oversight.
- Digitally confident and proficient in Microsoft Office and construction platforms.
- A strong communicator with excellent organisational and written skills.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is flexible to travel across project sites
- 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata)
