
Assistant Quantity Surveyor

- Being an integral member of the commercial team supporting the Managing Quantity Surveyor
- Building strong relationships with internal and client counterparts
- Engaging and managing sub-contracts including tender enquiries, award and assessment of monthly payment applications
- Effectively administering commercial functions of contract management systems to facilitate billing
- Working on client invoicing and debt management
- Ensuring all Tarmac and client processes are followed to minimise commercial risk
- Ensuring all work completed is accurately valued
- A drive and ambition to succeed
- Have Efficient and productive outputs
- NEC3/4 knowledge - although training can be provided to the right candidate
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Good oral, written communication; and presentation skills with strong numeracy and analytical ability
- Process driven with commercial awareness
- Able to work independently when required
