Lecturer - English(Fixed Term to the end of December)Salary: £24161 - £33415 (actual) per annumHours Per Week: 28 hours (Part Time)We are actively searching for an English Lecturer to join our English team at our Twelve Quays Campus for 28 hours per week on a 4 month fixed term basis. We will offer a salary of up to £41,769 per year, pro rata, plus many added incentives including:

This encompasses developing and delivering well-structured lessons that cater to various learning styles, employing a variety of teaching methodologies, and ensuring that all learners grasp fundamental mathematical concepts.About You:Hold a teaching qualification (Certificate of Education, PGCE or equivalent).Hold a specialist Level 4/5 English qualification (or from a related discipline e.g. History).Have a minimum Level 2 Mathematics qualification.Be able to evidence successful experience of teaching Functional Skills maths and GCSE English.Have a thorough knowledge of GCSE English specifications and/or Functional Skills standards.Wirral Met College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
