In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring security and integrity of our network architecture and information systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security technologies and industry standards, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective security strategies.The salary on offer for this position will be between £40,000 and £50,000 plus benefits depending on experience.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security solutions to protect network infrastructure and data.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure comprehensive security awareness and compliance.
  • Provide expertise on security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to network security.
  • Participate in incident response.
Critical Skills for Success
  • Experience in IT security architecture or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
