Job Type: Full-Time | TemporaryAre you detail-oriented, organised, and able to hit the ground running?Our client, a well-established and respected company, is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy accounts team on a temporary basis but with the potential to become permanent in the future.This is a full time (37.5 hours per week), fully office based role, and own transport is essential due to location of the office.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Group Accounts email inbox.
- Investigate and resolve queries related to incomplete or incorrect invoices.
- Code and process invoices, ensuring timely distribution for approval.
- Correct coding errors and follow up on unsigned invoices.
- Assist with statement reconciliations.
- Set up new suppliers on the system.
- Provide general support to the accounts team as needed.
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with invoice processing systems and reconciliation procedures.
