- Develop well-balanced, nutritious menus and manage kitchen operations, ensuring cost-effective practices whilst maintaining high-quality standards
- Compile a standardised recipe reference guide to ensure quality and uniformity
- Ensure strict compliance with UK food safety regulations, hygiene standards, allergen handling and quality control protocols
- Follow safe working practices at all times
- Observe internal controls relating to delivery/pick up of goods and signoff of invoices
- Monitor and manage stock levels
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Adhere to traceability process and ensure product & labelling integrity at all times
- Comply with company policies and procedures, standards of operation and safe operating procedures
- Provide supportive communication to team members, peers and managers
- Accreditation Food Hygiene equivalent at minimum level 2
- Proven experience as a Catering Manager in a quality-focused environment
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
- Expertise in menu planning and development
- Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and support a team effectively
- Good numeracy skills
